The little I know Alfs,is that I think they are trying to determine if there is water on Mars,they are attempting to find out by drilling 17 feet down to check the temperature down there.If it's warm down there,there could be water.If there is,we could fuck off there.

I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong.
